Sting in Concert

 

In 2010, Sting returns for a concert in Italy with 4 dates of his Symphonicity Tour 2010, which began on June 2 in Vancouver, his first stop to promote his latest album Symphonicities.

Sting will perform in Milan on November 2, 2010 at Teatro degli Arcimboldi for a much awaited occasion to listen to the most famous songs of his repertory rearranged in a symphonic way. Sting will play together with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra led by Maestro Steven Mercurio, who has also worked with Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli in the past.

Teatro degli Arcimboldi is located in the Bicocca district, in the Northern part of the city. It can be reached by:

 

Car
Following the main avenues such as Viale Zara, Viale Sarca or Via Melchiorre Gioia.
Freeway A4 Torino/Venezia exit at Cinisello Balsamo.

Taxi
There will be taxi parking in front of the Theater.

Public transportation

- Subway M1 Precotto and automobile route no.162 (from M1 Precotto station to the Bicocca district - and back, runs every 8-10 minutes);
- automobile route 40, with path from Bonola M1- Quarto Oggiaro/Bicocca;
- automobile route 44, with path from M2 Cascina Gobba- Niguarda District.

- FS train to the Greco Pirelli station using a regular ATM city-wide ticket leaving from Porta Garibaldi (approximately a 5-minute trip), Lambrate (8-minute trip), Rogoredo (approximately a 20-minute trip) and eventually also from Stazione Centrale (approximately a 6-minute trip).
