Hotel Galles: 4-star green hotel in the Centre of Milan

At the Best Western Plus Hotel Galles in Milan we recognize the importance of reducing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources, thanks to a series of right environmental policies which have been adopted and applied in the whole facility.

The Hotel Galles joined “Stay for the Planet” project, created by LifeGate, advisor and network for sustainable development, joined also by Best Western and the hotels belonging to the chain.

The project aims at involving hotels for a concrete contribution towards an active monitoring of levels’ consumption and its reduction. Each hotel has been assessed by a qualified grading advisor of LifeGate, against a rigorous set of criteria, covering a range of areas, like energy and water efficiency, waste management, purchases and ethical behaviors. The green rating has been based on a complex mathematical calculus on a scale from 1 to 5 leaves.
